![]() Then I just kept speed running GR90s until I had decent ancients in most spots (except rings and amulet), gambling with kadala for missing pieces, did the free seasonal augments, then went to do GR120 fire runs for XP at maybe 1100 paragon or something. Started at like GR75 when I first got the 6-piece but could quickly do it on GR90. My approach this season on monk was to first get innas obviously (didn’t bother with journey, just ran low level rifts), then run 90s second or faster GRs with water. Keep opening rifts, town is lava, etc etc. Since there is a cube recipe to convert any material into any other at a 1:1 ratio, it doesn't matter that you primarily only get white parts this way, just convert to whatever resource you're bottlenecked on.Just need to play, and be efficient. The reason is that whites salvage for 15 resources while blues/yellows go for 1-3 if I remember correctly. The best advice here is to always pick up white and grey items when they drop, rather than blue or yellow ones. Otherwise just do normal bounty runs.Īpart from the bounty-specific materials, you'll also need a lot of generic crafting materials. But of course, you have to find such people first. If you're shooting for not just ancient but also the right stat combination, you might want to consider looking for other players that want to farm the same piece and then only do the bounties of the two acts whose materials are required to craft that piece, which is ~2.5x as fast as doing all the bounties all over. ![]() The chance is the same for crafting, reforging, upgrading/gambling/dropping (not applicable to Crimson's), every means to obtain legendary items in the game with the sole exception of converting set items.įor the craftable items, the resources required to craft them are much faster to acquire than those needed to reforge, so you should definitely craft rather than reforge. There's a 10% chance the item comes out as ancient, or one in ten. ![]()
